Leetae's shake

This was taken at Farringdon Cross when me and my friends were on our way back from Tinsel town.

I like it because it's a natural photo and the lighting is bright and it shows one of my days out in London.

Nai and Neish

Naomi and Niesha, my two younger sisters siting in the living room. I took this photo because it relates o my every day life in London this is a common scene in my house apart from the fact that my brothers are not in it. Naomi (on the right) is eating Dinner and Niesha is watching t.v, my younger brothers would usually be in the frontroom after school aswell but they are upstairs playing football on the ps2 (typical or what). However if you look on the far left you can see one of my brothers holding the remote control for the sky + in his hand.

Layla's shades

My younger sister was turning 13 so I took her and a couple of friends to pizza hut, on the way home they decided to go window shopping. This medium close-up was taken in Primark when we were all trying on the sun glasses. I like it because it sows how much fun we were having trying on different items. These glasses were way too big for Layla and when she raised her eyebrows you could see them move that's why she's laughing so much.

If you look in the background you can see all the clothes on the racks behind her. This photo is very dynamic and the lines on the floor and ceiling create an interesting perspective.

London Life

Living in North West London since a young

Age, has shown me that there is more than one

Side to London to explore

So as I travel and I hear my oyster card beep

I wonder how a tourist would view London

And know this is only the beginning of my journey,

Now looking at London with fresh ideas

Eyes that stop to look at the trees on the walk home

Eyes that constantly stare at the visa through every possible window

Eyes that don't see stress eyes that do not judge.

My photos now show the love I have for life

For family and friends

For music and art,

My photos now show my everyday life

The ordinary.

My journeys, my observations

My photos now show London and I

And as I behold the beauty all around

I begin to wonder if every town is like this

I drop my Pattie and chips for a sec

As my thoughts wonder to Paris

Is it really that romantic?

The fashion capital

Could life be better there or

Does London offer me a part of Paris?

Yes or no, I don't know but

I love London and London Loves I

This project

I was given the title London-i for the title of my project. The aim was to create an online photojournal and a public exhibition of photography as well as using my photojournal to plan and express ideas.

To me London-i, is how i see myself in London and how i fit into it. As I was planning for my project, I had to assess where exactly I see myself in London and what my personal relationship with London is and why.

Flower Girl

I love the angle of these shots. This close- up shows the expressions on her face and adds mood to the photo aswell as including her personal props (flowers).

This photo is very dynamic and I like the patterns on th background as they add to the photo as much as the partings at the top of her head. Her top looks nice and bright and her arm provides a beautiful shadow, showing texture and tonality. I think the flower that she has in her hand is special because it has been hand picked from the bunch making this photo that litle bit more interesting. Every time I see this photo I feel calm and relaxed as it has a delicate feel to it and the scene looks peaceful.

Flowers talk

I love this photo, I took it on my phone when I was visiting family in Birmingham. My older cousin had just come to meet me with her daughter (in the photo) and on their way she had been collecting flowers from various garden or green area she walked passed. As her mum and I continued to walk and talk to the bus, I observed my little cousin and found it fascinating to watch her skip down the road and pick her flowers. When I asked her to smile and told her I was going to take her picture she held on tight to her flowers and posed with them. I was interested in her intimacy with nature, even in a busy town she managed to hold onto her connection with natures. Most 4 years old are excited by toys and sweets but she was fixed on her flowers and wanted nobody to take thme.

I like the natural elemts of this photo. It was a lovely day and this photo shows it.

I like this photograph because of the frame from the bus window. I like the angle as it is an unusual perspective.

Prospectus-type view of college: bright and untypically positive day at college.

I like the lack of light aswell as the shadow of the building which is in the foreground of the picture

This is a photo I took last year on my brothers 10th birthday. This photo is from my "family albulm" which I created as part of my AS art work last year and ended being used in my final peiceI. I like it because it a natural photo and the light from the candles act as a huge contrast to he dark room casting a shadow on my brothers body.
